Cognitive Support Infusion

The Cognitive Support Infusion at Integra Essenza contains B-complex vitamins, taurine, magnesium and antioxidants in a balanced fluid base, formulated by a physician after assessment. It is offered as nutritional support for adults under sustained mental or occupational load, not as treatment for any neurological or psychiatric condition. ₱5,000 per session.

What this is

This is for someone working long hours under sustained cognitive load who has noticed they aren’t operating the way they used to, and who’d like a physician to look before concluding it’s just age or just work.

The formulation contains B-complex vitamins, taurine, magnesium and antioxidants in a balanced fluid base, given over about 60 minutes in-clinic. B vitamins have established roles in normal nervous system function and magnesium is involved in a very large number of enzymatic processes. Neither of those is a claim about your brain.

Here’s the part that matters more than the formulation. Persistent mental fatigue, difficulty concentrating and low mood are symptoms with a long list of possible causes, including thyroid problems, anaemia, sleep apnoea, B12 deficiency and depression. Several are treatable, and none is treated with a wellness infusion.

So the assessment isn’t a formality here. A physician looking at your labs may conclude that what you’re describing needs investigation rather than an infusion, and refer you.

What the session involves

1. Assessment. Consultation, current labs, medication and supplement list, and a proper conversation about sleep, workload and how long this has been going on.

2. A decision. Whether an infusion is appropriate, or whether this needs a referral. Sometimes both.

3. The session. About 60 minutes in-clinic, physician-supervised, with monitoring.

4. Written findings. Including anything the physician thinks your own doctor should follow up.

Who we’d typically consider this for

    • Adults under sustained occupational load who’ve had recent labs and want supportive care with physician oversight.
    • Executives and professionals in demanding roles who want an assessment as much as an infusion.
    • People whose assessment identifies a relevant micronutrient gap.
    • Adults working across time zones or on disrupted schedules.

Who this isn’t for

    • What you’re describing has come on recently or is getting worse, which needs investigation rather than supportive care.
    • You have a diagnosed neurological or psychiatric condition, where we wouldn’t provide supportive infusion without your treating specialist’s involvement.
    • You’re hoping this will help with mood in place of seeing someone about it, in which case we’d rather help you find where to start.
    • You’re on medication affecting the central nervous system without the prescribing doctor consulted.
    • You’re pregnant or breastfeeding without obstetric input.
    • You’re under 18.

Risks and what to expect

Magnesium can cause warmth or flushing during infusion and mild drowsiness afterwards, which is worth planning around if you’re driving. High-dose B6 over extended periods has been associated with nerve symptoms, which is one reason cadence here is reviewed rather than open-ended.

Otherwise: cannula-site irritation and occasional light-headedness.

Session detail

₱5,000 per session, about 60 minutes plus monitoring. Includes physician supervision, preparation, administration and monitoring. Assessment and labs separate.

Where the evidence stands

B vitamin deficiency can genuinely affect cognition and correcting it matters. The evidence that infusing B vitamins into someone who isn’t deficient improves focus or clarity isn’t there.

The most useful thing this service offers someone struggling to think clearly is probably the assessment. If the labs find something, you’ve found it. If they don’t, you’ve ruled things out.

Questions people ask

We’re not able to tell you that. What we can do is check whether there’s something in your labs worth addressing.

Possibly not. Months of tiredness is worth investigating. Book the assessment and let a physician decide whether the answer is an infusion or a referral.

Warmth or flushing during infusion from magnesium, and mild drowsiness afterwards. Extended high-dose B6 has been associated with nerve symptoms, which is why cadence is reviewed.

Raise it at assessment. Often the honest answer is that sleep will do more.

No. Neither is something we assess or treat, and a specialist is the right place for both.

Yes, current, including renal function.

We prefer in-clinic session initially but home-service can be arranged.
