Most of what’s sold as detox has no way of telling you whether it worked. Ours starts with a test and ends with a number you can compare against the first one.
Integra Essenza offers testing-led detoxification services in Alabang, Muntinlupa: heavy metal testing and, where testing confirms elevated levels, chelation therapy. Treatment is not offered without laboratory confirmation.
If you’re looking for colon cleansing, intravenous hydrogen peroxide, NAD+, and weight management support, let’s talk.
What this is
Your liver and kidneys clear substances from your body continuously, without being asked and without being paid. That’s the system. It doesn’t need activating, unblocking or kickstarting, and in a healthy adult it doesn’t need help.
This matters because most of what’s sold as detox in this country is sold on a premise that isn’t true: that waste accumulates somewhere and has to be removed by a purchased service. There’s no accepted evidence for that, and the services built on it generally can’t tell you whether anything changed, because there’s nothing being measured.
So we’ve taken a narrow position. We offer detoxification services where three things are true: there’s a specific substance we can name, a laboratory test that shows whether it’s elevated, and a treatment with evidence that it increases excretion of that substance. Where all three hold, this is real clinical medicine. Where they don’t, we don’t offer it.
Right now that means heavy metals. Testing first, treatment only where testing supports it, and retesting to see whether it worked.
What the session involves
1. Assessment. A physician takes an occupational and environmental exposure history, reviews your current labs and full medication list, and decides which metals are worth testing for.
2. Testing. Laboratory testing for the specific metals in question, plus renal function. Results come back in writing.
3. A decision. If levels are elevated and a physician judges treatment appropriate, you get a protocol with the number of sessions and the full cost stated upfront. If levels are normal, we don’t treat, and you’ll have written findings saying what was tested and what was found.
4. Retesting. Where a course is given, levels are rechecked so you can see whether it changed anything.
Who we’d typically consider this for
Adults with a plausible occupational exposure history, including work involving metals, batteries, paints, solder, fuels, welding, or industrial and workshop environments.
People with an environmental exposure concern, including older housing, contaminated water, or living near industrial activity.
Patients referred by a physician for confirmed heavy metal burden.
People who’ve been advised to have chelation elsewhere and would like the testing done first.
Who this isn’t for
You’re looking for a general cleanse or reset, which isn’t something we offer. You want treatment without testing first.
Your testing comes back normal, in which case there’s nothing here to treat.
You have a kidney concern, where renal function governs whether chelation is possible at all.
You’re pregnant or breastfeeding.
You’re under 18.
Session detail
Starts at ₱4,500 per session, 45 to 60 minutes plus monitoring. Includes physician supervision, preparation, administration and monitoring. Assessment and labs separate.
Where the evidence stands
Hydration status and certain micronutrients do affect skin, which isn’t controversial. What isn’t established is that an intravenous infusion produces a visible or lasting change in skin appearance in a well-nourished adult.
On glutathione and skin lightening specifically, FDA Philippines has stated there are no published clinical trials evaluating injectable glutathione for that use, and no published guidance on dosing or duration.
It depends entirely on what’s meant. Removing a specific, measurable substance with a treatment shown to increase its excretion is real medicine, and that’s what chelation does for confirmed heavy metal exposure. General cleansing, where nothing is named and nothing is measured, has no accepted evidence behind it.
Probably not. Your liver and kidneys clear substances continuously without help. Where it becomes a clinical question is when there’s a specific exposure and a test that shows a level.
It’s a clinical procedure with real risks, which is why it’s done in-clinic under physician supervision with electrolytes and renal function monitored throughout, and why testing comes first. We won’t describe any procedure as simply safe.
Through testing, not symptoms. Symptom checklists for heavy metal toxicity are broad enough to match almost anyone, which is why we don’t use them as a basis for treatment.
